My Week...

The pictures I posted are after I had sucked up at least an inch of water off of our storage room floor. Believe me it looked much worse than this! (Do you feel sorry for me yet??). I am still in the middle of organizing my storage room. Nice way to get motivated huh??

In the picture of Fan#2 I wrote notice the shoe holding the door open. Well, we had this company come out to suck up the water off of our floor and help us with the baseboards, etc...well, the brainiac that set up the fans closed the bathroom door so the fan sucked up a whole roll of toilet paper and shot it out in a zillion little pieces - when we opened the door it was a toilet paper snow storm. So, John stuck one of the boys' soccer shoes in front of the door to hold it open so it wouldn't happen again. The company that came out was an absolute joke and complete rip off...but, for $500 bucks we had our own little snow storm to clean up - as if we didn't have enough to do.

By 6:00 Monday night we had pretty much everything cleaned up and a new water heater installed. Yay. I am off to finish organizing all of our crap! Once John gets home it's repairs on the baseboards and wall in the hallway...woohoo!

This week I was supposed to go to St. George again with John (without the boys) - but, I knew I couldn't leave my house in shambles. So, I sent John by himself. Poor me! (now do you feel sorry for me??)

Ok, Yes I feel sorry for you! What a mess that happened and you missed a trip. Bummer.

But little Lola looks adorable in that photo.

T- Oh what a mess! I am so sorry. We had this happen 2 days before my due date with B and I all I could do was cry saying I just need a shower before I go into labor. Luckily for us it was an unfinished basement so we did not have to deal with saving carpet and baseboard. We got it replaced the next day and on my due date B arrived at 11 am- having had a shower the night before!!

Oh and I came here to tell you that it is a crime against humanity- well all of humanity that skis- that you live in Utah and don't ski. Utah is my favorite place in the U.S. to hit the slopes!

Ugh, crap. Sorry you gotta deal with that, but the tp story is hilarious....not laughing at you, just with you!!! ;0)

I got the closet organizers from Lowes. They work good in a kids room because their clothes are small, I wouldn't recommend them in an adult closet though.

Goodluck with your organizing!

I'm reading Shannon's post and I feel the same way, it is a crime that you don't ski living where you live. Why don't you just move to sunny Fla? It's 80 today!

Well why didn't E and G help you clean up the snow in the bathroom? I think that is really funny!

Those kind of things are NOT fun. Our pipes in our utility room burst about 2 weeks ago. Of course hubby was gone to CO for "The Guy" ski trip which left me to call the plumber and shovel out about 4 inches of water! I feel your pain!
